A live snapshot of golf practice in British Columbia, drawn from our directory of every range, indoor simulator, and pitch & putt in the province. Updated June 2026.
Notable findings
A few things that stand out across BC’s 222 golf practice venues.
- ›Automated ball-tracking is still rare: only 42 of 222 venues (19%) have it - Toptracer on 11, Trackman on 32.
- ›Built for the BC winter: 34 ranges have covered bays and 17have heated stalls, so practice doesn’t stop when the rain does.
- ›The highest-rated venue in BC is Back Nine Indoor Golf Vernon in Vernon - 5.0★ from 97 reviews (min. 20 to qualify).
- ›The most-reviewed is Fairmont Hot Springs Resort with 3,948 Google reviews.
- ›Indoor golf has a real footprint: 46 simulator venues across 26BC cities - year-round practice that doesn’t care about the weather.
Where the ranges are
The 222 venues span 100 BC cities. The Lower Mainland and South Island carry the most, but golf practice reaches deep into the Interior and the north.

How we count
These numbers come from our own directory, which we build from public listings and then verify and correct by hand - removing gun clubs, duplicate course listings, and venues with no real practice range, and tagging each as an outdoor range, indoor simulator, or pitch & putt. Amenities are added only when a venue states them. Counts update automatically as the directory changes, and golfer ratings shown are Google aggregates, not our own. If something looks off, every listing has a "suggest an edit" link.
